When it comes to dance crews.. I notice most of them are pretty one dimensional.. Either all breakers.. or all Isolation.. HipHop.. etc... this group the Jabbawockeez has a little bit of everything.. It's not just choreography.. You can tell that they're all very talented individually and each bring something different to the table heres a quick video of the jabbawockeez on americas best dance crew.jabbawockeez on americas best dance crew click here
One of my favorite dance styles is called gettin lite.Gettin lite is a movement. Not a dance ,not some simple pastime for inner-city youth trying desperately to escape the poorly-funded schools, drugs, and gun violence, It’s like this incredibly dance and comes from musical influences that circulated the last century of African-American dance culture combined with hip-hop swagg and an NYC flavor It’s breaking, tap, vogue, ballet, miming, pop-locking and probably many other dance forms that I’ve never even seen before all compacted into one ever-evolving, indescribable package that has literally taken parties by storm in the New York City area for the past couple of years. I learned how to get like by battling at parties and watching dcole battlegoruds hers a link showing one of my favorite battles.favorite get lite battle
This is a picture of chrisbrown one of my favorite hiphop dancers. I have watched him since he first joined the music industry. Ive learned many different types of styles and techniqes by watching chris brown. His strong points are krumping, poplocking, and break dancing. Chris brown learned from many dancers just as im learning from him. Some of his idols are michael jackson, james brown and usher. In my eyes he is the next michael jackson. Here is a video of Chris performing at one of his concertschris brown dancing to michael jackson
